Rachael Beck is one of Australia’s most iconic performers and educators. Best known for starring opposite Hugh Jackman in Beauty and the Beast, her career spans Les Misérables, Cats, Cabaret, The Sound of Music, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, film, television, and concert tours across the country.

Beyond her celebrated career, Rachael is a sought-after mentor who understands exactly what casting directors look for and how to stand out in a competitive industry. She has guided young performers nationwide, from audition preparation and stagecraft to building the confidence and resilience needed for a sustainable career.

Rachael has also worked extensively with schools, government, and arts organisations to create programs in leadership, communication, and arts-based mental health, as well as directing and strengthening performing arts departments. She is deeply committed to helping young people discover their passion and build pathways into future careers.

As SDAC’s Career mentor and ambassador, Rachael gives students access to the kind of industry insight, professional guidance, and personal mentorship that most dancers only dream of. Through workshops, career planning, and hands-on support, she opens doors and creates opportunities that help our students step into the spotlight with confidence.
